Mason Scott meets grandpa Scott
Mason's middle name is named after my dad. I was shocked when my dad wanted to hold him and evn more when he wouldn't give him up! I love my dad and can't wait for mason to love his grandpa
Mattoons love Casa
Our favorite restaurant in the Pullman/Moscow area is Casa Lopez. We eat there whenever we get the chance. We mostly celebrate birthdays there. So between our good group of friends we can go for 6 birthdays! One thing they do for your bday is sing to you while you where a sombrero. Ashley let mason borrow it so we could document his first trip to Casa
Coach Travis.
Travis coached the 2nd and 3rd grade girls basketball team for Pullman parks and Rec. it was so fun to watch him work with the girls. It was out of his element for sure but I was proud of him. They had an excellent record and the team loved him! At the end of the season they gave him this framed team picture and one girl made him this little bball hoop complete with Pom Pom basketballs. So cute!
New couch
We got a new couch! A real adult couch. It's red leather! Travis' grandparents gave it to us! So we moved the futon into the baby room. I'm so excited. I think it is much more homey and not so bachelor pad. The futon was Travis old bed. And it is super comfy. Yay!

Spending time with daddy
Travis is always wanting to know when mason will talk, walk, catch, throw, basically take care of himself etc. I am perfectly content with him being my little peanut. But I sure love seeing Travis play and hold his son.

Brothers and sister
Mason sure loves his brother and sister. Nala wants him to play with her and bandit just wants to cuddle. I can't wait for them to grow up together.
I love instagram
Instagram is a cool photo editing app for the iPhone and iPad. I love it. Here are some neat pics I've altered of my baby boy
Baby bright eyes
Masons eyes are still blue. They are so big and bright when he's awake it's the first thing that really stands out when you look at him. People are always saying things about his cute big eyes and how alert he is
Sleepy boy
Mason is an excellent sleeper. He sleeps a lot and usually sleeps in 3-4 hour stretches at night. Which is great for my recovery. Plus he's just so cute when he sleeps
First day of church.
We brought mason to church on Sunday and dressed him up in his best. It was a little big but he looked so handsome. His uncle chase bought him the tie for Christmas. And his aunts picked out the shirt.
Masons first snow
I was pissed it snowed again ( right after I wanted to swap out my spring clothes) but I was happy to get a picture of mason in the snow in Travis old snow suit. Travis was born in Alaska in January so he got a lot of use out of this snow suit. Mason hated the snow just like his mom! Good boy! Let move to Florida!

One month old
Mason was one month on leap day! We took a couple pictures to keep a record of him growing. Progression pictures. He looks so tiny. He's my little peanut. he weighs 7 pounds 13 oz and is 23 inches long
with the football grandma gave him
with Travis old stuffed dog Jake
with the pups
on his special quilt made by my mom
in his 6/9 month wsu jersey
This month went by so quick! I can't believe it. I am feeling much better and Mason is getting more alert everyday. He loves to grab on to things (hair, binkies, seat belts, blankets) and is doing great eating from both a bottle and nursing. He is definitely strong willed and knows what he wants and has a set of lungs to get his way! We love him so much.
