Missing Travis.

This has been completely different than I thought! I thought it would go by fast if I was busy. Well I have been BUSY and yet it's been three weeks when it feels like 3 months. I am surviving though and Travis is doing awesome so that's what is important!
Anyways the other day I found this quote and it's really started to help my outlook.
Also my friend Jaimie got me this sign for Christmas and makes me so proud to be his "lady liberty!"

We also decided on a little saying we wrote on every letter "together forever, never apart. Maybe in distance but never in heart!"
It is very true for us! I couldn't be more proud of my soldier! God bless America!

Also we got our tickets for graduation. It's going to be such a fun trip!!

Puppy cuddles

Bandit was laying in the sun and mason joined him for a morning puppy cuddle.

He said "uh oh bandit hot"

iPad kid

Seriously I don't know if I should be worried or should be proud. He loves!!! The iPad! And can navigate it no problem. Finds his apps. Plays his games turns it off and even takes pictures!
Love him!

Potty time!

So one day mason decided he wanted to use the potty! After about a week of the timer a package of stickers and awesome preschool teachers mason is potty trained! Imagine that. Before he was two. I love this kid record easiest child or what!

Fun at the Cherry's

We went to nikki and Caleb (read: k-bub) according to mason) for dinner and had a great time!
Wearing Caleb's cool glasses.
Lifting weights

Eating chocolate
And pretending to be a doggie.

It was a lot of fun!

Toys

Mason is getting into that "too many" toys explosion. especially with the holidays and his birthday coming up I had to find a new solution. I tackled his room and so far love how it's working out. Each tub has one type of toy (cars, balls, Dinos etc). I got the milk crates out of a faulted unit and zipped tied them together to make a shelf.

Then to tackle the massive stuffed animal epidemic going around here we got this shoe holder and ordered a stuffed animal hammock for the rest!

Yay for a new year and organization!

Mason's 2nd Birthday Party- sock monkey party

Mason LOVES sock monkeys and we have started quite the collection. I was excited to use that as the theme for his party. It was a perfect party!

 Happy Birthday Mason!

Cute cuddly Mason with his sock monkey!
Mason with his Bday balloons! We went and picked them out after his shots. He picked a truck, a puppy (the square one) and balls balloons. When walking back to the car he said "bye bye truck" and sure enough the truck balloon was floating off too space. Silly boy!

 Name banner for his Chair
We used these for the photo booth... that I forgot about. Whoops.
Messy boy eating lots of birthday treats!

He waited all week for the suckers!

Presents! Mason has so many people that love him! We had so many good gifts he will love for a long time

I made him a sock monkey! I was pretty impressed how it turned out!!

After gifts we went outside to play "obstacle course" one of Mason's favorite games!

He loved hitting his ball with his new bat (that is cougars and glow in the dark!)

After most of our guests left I remembered the photo booth so we took some of the people that were still there
Mason was laughing so hard! It was adorable!

 I love my little monkey!

We had to take lots of pictures to get him to smile! I love the stage he is in right now! And I can't believe he is almost two!!
