Raggedy Anne and Andy

I was so excited to dress him up. My friend Ashley and I knew we wanted to dress them up together. We first though of pebbles and bam bam but then went with this instead. I made masons costume and only spent .25 cents! I didn't have the plaid shirt but got it at a quarter sale at sugar britches. I made everything else and also made paisley's costume too. I sewed the apron and bonnet without a pattern and cut the legs off of some Jammies to turn it into a dress. For both of the wigs I strung the red yarn through the hats so they would keep them on. I couldn't believe how adorable they looked. Like lil dolls.

Last camping trip

We loved going camping this year. Mason is pretty good camper. He got grumpy this time for some unknown reason. We really had fun with the Clements. The boys widdled wood and Ashley and I made good food and kept the babes happy. There was a fire ban and fires are my favorite part so that was a bummer but it was still fun. We stayed up late all together in the Clements tent (an awesome tent that has a swinging door) playing phase ten. The boys also swam out to the island in the reservoir. It was way too cold. We can't wait until next year so Mason can walk around!!

Mason's First (real) Halloween

Last year I was pregnant and mason loved Halloween. Now he is born and loved it even more ha ha. It was so fun to dress him all month in monster, mummies and Halloween Jammies. On actual Halloween we went to the mall and trick or treated. Mason didn't get any candy except a sucker but it was fun to show off his costume and see Jess and Geoff and their kids. Then we went to papa Murphies yum!

Ward party

Mason was a tiger and I was on tiger safari. He was so cute as a little baby tiger. He loved crawling after the kids, eating a bread bowl top and eating a sucker with dad. He was happy to smile with breann his babysitters lil girl (they are a week apart)

Spooktacular party

Travis let's us dress up every other year so I was excited this year to have a couples Halloween party with our ward friends. We had a great time at throwing our party the Friday before. Everyone came in costume and we played minute to win it games and ate appetizers. The Clements Dunns and us dressed up as characters from clue. Travis was Colonel mustard and I was miss scarlet. I made most of Travis' costume and did all the little touches. I was so excited hat he got so into it! My mom saved the day and sent me my dress just in time! So much fun! What a great time of year!!!

Mummies

I made Mason and paisley matching mummy onsies and they turned out great. I made paisleys with a bow to make it girly. Mason tried making the moves on paisley and she was not having it. Mason loves giving kisses. They are big and wet!

Mason always grabs my glasses and I hate it but he looks pretty cute in them at least.

Seven years ago

I popped out of a suitcase and won homecoming queen

When I was a senior in high school I won homecoming queen. Crazy huh?!? Well I was on the Voted onto the court by my class with 2 other girls. Then we were presented in an assembly and I came out in a suitcase. We didn't tell anyone but came up with the best idea for me to come out hidden in a suitcase, dress and all! My escort and hs boyfriend pulled me out to the middle looking into the crowd while people whispered 'is she in here' 'no way she's in here' 'it's courtney I bet she is!' then he put down the suitcase and unzipped it and I sat up and the crowd went wild! It was such a fun day. Later in the week the school voted me queen and we had the football game and dance and all that jazz. That started quite a trend at lshs and each year someone tries to come up with some 'entrance' (my sis came out doing back handsprings in 09) Crazy to think it's already been 7 years. My littlest sister went to homecoming this weekend and she was just gorgeous. Reminiscing for sure! Good times!

Stylish

Mason always wears the coolest clothes. I love dressing my little doll. My mom sure loves to shop for our little man. She picks the best clothes! Thanks grandma!!

Mini t

Travis wore this outfit all the time when he lived in Alaska when he was a baby. His mom loved that we put Mason in it and I loved that she kept it so he could wear it!!

8 months old

Mason is now a wild man. He is pulling DVDs off our shelves, loving the dog bowls and the dish washer. Stands in his crib and is finally wearing 6-12 month clothes. He is loud and smiley and goofy. He makes crazy faces and always wants mama. He can sign "more" and "please" and understands "all done" and usually cries and throws a fit when I sign it. He loves soft blankets and sleeps with his bum in the air. I couldnt imagine life with out him!
